Surfactants: The surfactants or ‘surface active agents’ in the Fabric Softener substantive on the surface of the linen and clothing fibres and impart a soft feel or ‘Hand’ to the fabric. The surfactants in the Fabric Softener are biodegradable and derived from renewable plant resources rather than being tallow based and derived from animals as in most softeners. They are gentle on the environment.
The Fabric Softener contains a unique polymer to reduce wrinkles and impart wrinkle resistance to the fabric during the final rinse. This polymer also helps to make the fabric less water repelling than as with other fabric softeners.
Herbal extract: The Fabric Softener contains an extract of lavender, wormwood and rosemary that imparts a herbal lingering note to clothes and linen.
Anti-ingesting agent: The Fabric Softener contains an anti-ingestion bitter agent as a safety precaution to discourage children and pets from ingesting the product.
Viscosity modifier: The Fabric Softener contains a small quantity of a natural plant gum to give the softener a lotion like consistency.
Preservative: Fabric Softener contains a preservative to maintain the product in a safe condition and prevent unwanted microbiological growth.
pH adjustment: The Fabric Softener contains a plant acid to adjust the pH to mildly acid and compatible with the skin’s pH.
